We understand the sensitive nature of legal matters and ensure that all communication, documents, and personal data shared with us remain protected and private at all times.

🔒 Our Commitment to Confidentiality

We strictly follow the principles below for every client:

  • ❌ We do not disclose or discuss any client information with third parties.
  • ❌ We do not use any client’s name, brand, or case details in our marketing without prior written consent.
  • ❌ We do not share or sell client lists or personal information.
  • ✅ We ensure that all internal staff, advocates, and associates operate on a strict need-to-know basis when accessing client-related material.
  • ✅ All communication and records are protected through secure channels and encrypted systems.

📄 LegalFreedomIndia Confidentiality Agreement

It is understood and agreed that a client may share sensitive, case-specific, or personal data with LegalFreedomIndia, which shall be treated as confidential information. This agreement serves to safeguard that information, and preserve its confidentiality under relevant Indian laws including the Information Technology Act, 2000, and Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

1. Scope of Confidential Information

Whether or not marked as “confidential”, the following types of shared information are covered:

  • Legal case details
  • Identity proofs, contact data, and financial records
  • Business-related strategies, internal communications, or trade secrets
  • Documents or submissions prepared for courts or authorities
  • Client-specific legal research, advice, or recommendations

2. Limited Internal Disclosure

LegalFreedomIndia may share the confidential information only within its own team, and only where required to provide the service. This includes its:

  • Legal associates
  • Advocates
  • Partners
  • Contracted consultants or content team (where applicable)

No one outside this circle will have access to client information unless legally required or specifically authorized by the client.

Exceptions to Confidentiality

This Agreement does not apply to information that:

a) Was already in LegalFreedomIndia’s possession before disclosure.
b) Becomes publicly known through no fault of LegalFreedomIndia.
c) Is lawfully obtained by LegalFreedomIndia from a third party with no obligation of confidentiality.
d) Is disclosed under court order or government authority (with client informed).
e) Is independently developed by LegalFreedomIndia without using or referring to the client’s confidential data.

Entire Agreement

This statement constitutes the complete agreement between LegalFreedomIndia and the client regarding the treatment of confidential information. Any amendment to this agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.

Severability Clause

If any part of this agreement is deemed unenforceable under Indian law, the remainder of the agreement shall continue to remain valid to the maximum extent permissible.

⚠️ Client Responsibility

Clients are solely responsible for any breach or unauthorized activity conducted using their LegalFreedomIndia account or shared credentials. Such violations may result in civil or criminal liability under Indian law.
